Reviews:

Awesome Book with EVERYTHING you need to know for the NEW SAT
Hey I'm a junior in high school right now and I bought this book to begin SAT prep and aid me along with classes. The author, Adam Robinson, writes in such a cool, down-to-earth, easy to understand was and he packs the book the extremely helpful tips/strategies. Not only is the book excellent, but so is the website. I was even able to contact Adam through the website and he reviewed an essay I wrote personally (he emailed me back a page worth of commentary on my essay and how I could improve it even though all I asked him for is what he would think it could score on the SAT). I DEFINATELY recommend this book! Look at the reviews on the older version of the book to get a better idea of what everyone thinks of it(There are more than 30 reviews for the 2005 edition).
You Must Buy This Book!
After practicing for about a month using RocketReview along with tests from the collegeboard's SAT book, my writing score jumped from the 500-range to an 800, my critical reading score went from 740 to 800, and my math score went into the 700s from 580. Robinson's no-nonsense test-taking advice is invaluable, especially for the essay. With the book, you also get access to the website, which has a feature called OmniProctor that simulates the test-taking environment, with a proctor that keeps time and lets you know when you have 5 mins. left, etc. Anyway- great, great book - and a lot cheaper than a prep course.
Great Preparation for the New SAT
When it comes to coaching anxious high school students for their crucial college board tests, no one does it better than Adam Robinson, the standardized testing guru formerly associated with the Princeton Review.
Written in an appealing conversational tone, packed with sound, inciteful advice for tackling the new SAT, and including a valuable instructional CD-ROM, The Rocket Review Revolution is easily the best SAT guide out there. Mr. Robinson's online program designed to aid students in practicing for the essay portion of the test is an amazing bonus.
